Patricia A. Denton - Online Memorial Website

Patty was born in Memorial Hospital on March 13, 1941.  She has a brother (Butch) who was her favorite plaything until she was 5 or 6.  Her father was in the Army so she travelled a lot until she was 7 going everywhere from Michigan to Georgia to California back to Michigan.  She graduated from Buchanan High School in 1959 making her the first member of both sides of the family to graduate high school. 

She married Robert Claude Fretz in 1961.  They had a son (Rusty) born in November.  She later divorced Robert.  She moved to Plainfield in 1965 staying there until her death. 

She never smoked, very rarely even sipped alcohol and never said a bad word about anyone.  She worked at Sheridan West Hotel until they changed their name to Adam's Mark Hotel.  There she worked as cashier/bartender for almost 30 years before retiring in 2004.
